Milad restaurant

A conceptual design and 3D visualisation project for the world's largest revolving restaurant.

Milad tower revolving restaurant architectural conception / 3D visualisation

This was a two part project, first to design and to help other designers and architects to design and to propose a concept of interior designs and lighting for the Milad tower revolving restaurant, the world’s largest revolving restaurant platform (at the time, and maybe still), in which I participated in designing process with the head architect of the project, Ali Kourechian. In particular the ceiling lights (of the restaurant) are my proposed design for lighting, in other parts I participated partly as well. Second part of the project was the 3D visualization of the project so the client would be able to see (and decide about) the designs before their execution; this part of the job (especially for the images being published here) is solely my work, including, 3d modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering/ effects. 3D models were made accurately after architectural plats, technical plans and Auto-cad files of the tower and the restaurant itself which is one of the challenges of precise and serious architectural projects.
